With a view to continuous improvement and in line with Tecno Profili’s corporate mission, new models have been introduced in the ‘wrap-around mosquito nets’ section after painstaking research and development work in the insect screen department.
Today we explore the new wrap-around mosquito screens in detail: Beauty, King and Iron 35.
The Beauty mosquito net is a side-rolling, tracked model, ideal for door-windows. It is equipped with a welded mesh with buttons that prevents the net from falling out even in strong winds.
It is ideal for areas of frequent passage thanks to the aluminium profile on the ground of only 3.5 mm and the controlled closing/opening that excludes sudden and fast recoiling.
An important aspect is the speed of assembly, which is made possible by the simplified system: after the frame has been installed, all you have to do is insert the cassette using the quick-release coupling.
A significant innovation is the rack and pinion sliding system, positioned in the upper compensator, which ensures the handle bar slides on axis and allows for linear opening and closing; as there are no wires or foils in the upper guide system, it does not suffer wear and tear over time.
It offers numerous levels of customisation, with 11 colours available in the colour card, and the possibility of making the insect screen with two wings or two opposing wings ‘cassette against cassette’, always keeping the net perfectly aligned.
Optional extras include the three-sided 50 recessed profile and the black/white banded net.
In conclusion, the Beauty insect screen is an extremely versatile and durable model.
The King mosquito net is a side-rolling model, ideal for French windows. With its minimalist design, it blends perfectly into any environment, also thanks to the small size of the box, which measures only 38 mm.
A remarkable feature is the closed brush track, which holds the net in place in the event of wind, prevents the deposit of dirt and acts as a barrier against the entry of insects.
As the net has no buttons, if the net should come out of the track, simply open and close the insect screen to restore the correct position of the net; this removes the risk of the net being cut.
This insect screen model can also be made with two wings or two opposing wings ‘cassette against cassette’ while keeping the net aligned. Available in 11 different colours.
The insect screen is compatible with all recessed systems, such as: Recessed 45 Roller Shutter, Recessed 45 Shutter, Twist 50 and Compensator 45.

The Iron 35 insect screen is designed to solve the problems associated with installation in very small spaces; for this reason, the size of the box is only 35 mm.
It stands out for its ease of use and installation, and for the security offered by the standard locking mechanism with deadbolts, which prevent accidental release.
Optional extras include the wind brush and the black and white striped net, which add practicality and customisation. In addition, for the lateral version it is possible to request as an option the ‘ground rail lift kit’, which facilitates cleaning of the sill and prevents tripping when the insect screen is not in use (e.g. in winter).
